Suitbert Schmuedderich

After studying political science, economy and philosophy, Suitbert joined COFAD in 1989 as a fisheries socio-economist. When COFAD became part of the GOPA Group in 2018, Suitbert was appointed Managing Director. In his technical work, Suitbert is focusing on political, social and economic aspects of fisheries and aquaculture. One of his specializations is working with data, databases and statistics. C​urrently, he is primarily dealing with projects in Europe. ​​​Suitbert enjoys working with his colleagues at COFAD, of other GOPA Group companies and with some other collaboration partners, with whom COFAD has established long-standing working relations.
